Embark on an advanced scuba diving experience that promises an exhilarating encounter with bull sharks in Playa del Carmen. This adventure offers a unique thrill, even for experienced divers!

Advanced Diving with Bull Sharks

Our journey begins at the designated time at the dive center, situated at 10 Norte Avenue and 2 Norte Street in Playa del Carmen. Upon arrival, we'll don our wetsuits and collect all necessary dive equipment.

Once we are suited up and ready to dive, we will stroll to the Playa del Carmen pier to board a speedboat. This vessel will navigate us across the Caribbean Sea to an exceptional diving spot. Prepare yourself for an extraordinary underwater adventure.

After reaching our location, we will leap into the water to kick off our diving expedition with bull sharks. From November through late February, the female bull sharks gather in these inviting waters to give birth.

Our first dive will last for 30 minutes, taking us to a depth of 24 meters (80 feet) where we will observe these magnificent sharks. Following this dive, we will regroup on the boat and travel to another diving site for a second dive, which will be shorter but will allow us to explore a stunning coral reef.

After completing both dives, we will make our way back to Playa del Carmen. Upon disembarking at the pier, we will return to the dive center, which will take around three hours in total.

Important to Note

Participation in this activity requires possession of the international Advanced Open Water Diver certificate or an equivalent qualification, confirming that you are trained to dive to a maximum depth of 30 meters (100 feet).
