The Roman Villas Museum is conveniently situated a mere 50-minute drive from Valladolid!

This museum is organized into three primary sections: the interpretation centre, the archaeological sites of the Roman villa of Almenara-Puras, and a replica of a villa.

Your visit will begin by delving into the daily life during the Roman Empire in the countryside. What forms of entertainment did they enjoy? What beliefs shaped their lives? Here, you'll also encounter numerous archaeological artifacts unearthed in the region.

Following this, step outside to the archaeological sites, where you can admire the remains of as many as 30 distinct rooms alongside 400 square meters of exquisite mosaics preserved from this grand residence, which dates back to the 4th century.

The final space in the museum features a life-sized replica of a Roman villa, providing a clear vision of what this area may have looked like millennia ago.
