Day 1: Rome - Assisi - Siena - Florence

Your adventure begins early in the morning, departing from Rome to Assisi. Here, you will enjoy free time to wander the picturesque walled historic center or visit the renowned Basilica of Saint Francis, home to masterpieces by Giotto and Cimabue. You will also have the opportunity for lunch at your own expense.

Refreshed, we will then travel to Siena. Discover this medieval treasure, famous for its stunning cathedral and the remarkable Piazza del Campo, known for hosting the Palio delle Contrade.

As the day concludes, we will continue to Florence for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Florence

After breakfast, we will embark on a guided tour of Florence's historic center. Highlights include the magnificent cathedral and the impressive Brunelleschi bell tower. We will also visit the Giotto bell tower and the St. John Baptistry, home to the celebrated Gates of Paradise.

Your journey continues to Piazza della Signoria, passing the Uffizi Gallery and the historic Palazzo Vecchio.

For lunch, we will dine at a traditional Tuscan restaurant in Piazza de Santa Croce.

The evening is free to explore or take an optional excursion to Pisa.

Day 3: Florence - Bologna - Venice

Following breakfast, we leave Florence for Bologna, renowned for its academic heritage. Enjoy a visit to the city center to see key sights including the Fountain of Neptune, the Palazzo Comunale, and the Basilica of San Petronio.

Before departing Bologna, savor lunch at local street food stalls, offering an authentic taste of the region.

In the afternoon, we will head to our hotel in Venice for dinner on your own and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Venice

After breakfast, we'll travel by private boat to St. Mark's Square, the vibrant hub of Venice.

Join a guided tour of the city's major monuments, including St. Mark's Basilica, famed for its golden interior, and the Doge's Palace, a symbol of Venice's history and power. Discover the Bridge of Sighs, historically linked to Casanova.

A local delicacy, a cicchetti and a spritz, is included as a taste experience.

Post-tour, enjoy free time to explore Venice at your leisure. Be mindful of your spending as the shops can be quite enticing!

Day 5: Venice - Montepulciano - Rome

After breakfast, we depart Venice for the return journey through Tuscany and the scenic Chianti wine region, characterized by rolling hills, valleys, vineyards, and charming villages.

We will stop in Montepulciano, famed for its delicious "nobile" red wine. Enjoy a traditional Tuscan lunch, followed by free time to stroll the town and shop for memorable souvenirs.

Finally, we will return to Rome, arriving in the late evening.
