At the designated time, participants will gather at Maakuntakatu 29 to commence the paddle surfing adventure in the enchanting midnight sun, a distinctive experience in Rovaniemi!

Upon reaching your lakeside destination, an expert instructor will provide a lesson on the essential techniques of SUP, or "Stand Up Paddleboarding". You'll learn how to maintain your balance and navigate across the lake on the paddle surf boards. With your paddle ready, you’ll then enter the water!

As you paddle gently across the serene waters of Lapland, soak in the breathtaking display of the midnight sun, a rare sight north of the Polar Arctic Circle. Throughout the summer, this exceptional phenomenon creates an illusion of never-ending sunsets!

Next, we'll take a short hike to the peak of a nearby hill, where you can admire a captivating view of the golden horizon: a panoramic vista that will linger in your memory.

The tour concludes with a return to the meeting point in Rovaniemi.

The midnight sun is a natural occurrence within the Arctic Circle in summer. In Rovaniemi, it can be experienced from early June to early September, with the White Nights occurring during the final weeks of June coinciding with the summer solstice.
