Your adventure begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Rovaniemi between 7 and 9 pm. We’ll then depart in a specialized vehicle, heading towards the verdant forests that envelop the city.

As we navigate through the wooded pathways, you'll encounter quirky traffic signs alerting you to the presence of moose on the loose. With an estimated population of around 100,000 moose, Finland is one of their natural habitats. Throughout the journey, we will share fascinating insights into the lives of these animals. Remarkably, they are the largest wild creatures on the continent, with some weighing as much as 700 kilos and standing up to 7 feet tall!

Timing is ideal for this excursion, as it occurs in the late afternoon, the prime window for observing these majestic beings who tend to be most active during sunrise and sunset.

Your experience will conclude with a delightful traditional Laponian snack. How about a serving of ginger biscuits paired with a warm drink?

After approximately three and a half hours of exploration, we will return you to your hotel in Rovaniemi.

The moose roam freely in their natural habitat, which means sightings cannot be guaranteed during the tour. Nevertheless, we will take you to locations where they are frequently spotted, and with a bit of luck, we may catch a glimpse of these incredible animals.
