Shamanic Ayahuasca Ceremony

Shamanic Ayahuasca Ceremony

For this activity, you have the option to select from a 2, 3, 4, or 7-day spiritual retreat. Each package includes transfers to and from your hotel in Rurrenbaque, along with transportation to the retreat center, where you will immerse yourself in a refreshing mind-cleansing experience.

2-Day Ceremony

Upon arrival at the retreat center, we will take a guided walk to familiarize ourselves with the facilities. A brief introductory talk will set the stage for the upcoming ceremony, before we take a pause until 5:30 pm for a 90-minute meditation session.

After the meditation, another break will follow until 9 pm, marking the beginning of the ceremony. We will convene in the temple for this much-anticipated event. The evening will commence with a short meditation followed by the ceremony itself, where the shaman will lead us in sacred chants and share the traditional drink.

The ceremony concludes between 2 am and 3 am, after which we will retire for the night. We will rise at 8 am to enjoy breakfast together and engage in a group discussion to reflect on our experiences. Between 11 am and 12 pm, we will facilitate your return to your hotel.

3-Day Ceremony

Day 1: After settling into the retreat center and exploring the surroundings, we’ll start with a meditation session. Between 4 and 5 pm, an introductory talk will take place to outline the ceremony. Afterward, we’ll have dinner followed by time to rest.

Day 2: The day begins with a morning meditation, then breakfast. We’ll explore the jungle, familiarizing ourselves with medicinal plants, before lunch and an afternoon for relaxation. Afterward, we will reconvene at 12 pm for a mediation session and to address any questions prior to the ceremony, which will commence at 9 pm.

Day 3: We’ll open the day with a group discussion to help process our experiences, followed by lunch and a jungle walk. Between 11 am and 12 pm, we will bid farewell, feeling revitalized.

4-Day Ceremony

This schedule mirrors the structure of the previous retreat but extends the experience by an additional day. Ceremonies are conducted on the first and third days, with the days in between dedicated to meditation and rest in preparation for the next ceremony.

7-Day Ceremony

The schedule for this program follows the previous formats but incorporates 2 ayahuasca healing ceremonies and a shamanic diet featuring oats, quinoa, and wheat. Moreover, you will consume a healing plant to facilitate further purification of body and mind.

On non-ceremony days, you will have the opportunity to relax and process your experiences. During free time, you may choose to wander through the jungle, swim in natural springs, meditate, or experience magnet therapy treatments.

Food and Accommodation

Depending on your choice, the retreat includes 1, 2, 3, or 6 nights of accommodation at the Allkamari Retreat Center in La Paz.

For the 3-, 4-, and 7-day retreats, meals including breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided. However, please be aware that eating is not advised on the nights leading up to the ayahuasca ceremony, and thus, meals on those evenings are not included. Shared meals typically consist of a starter, main dish, a drink, and fruit.
