Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel at 9 am, where we will embark on a thorough exploration of São Joaquim. Welcome to this delightful town nestled in Santa Catarina!

Renowned as the apple capital of Brazil, this city boasts a fascinating history tied to the cultivation of this beloved fruit. As we traverse its key landmarks, we will share intriguing insights and stories.

Our first stop will be the Igreja Matriz de São Joaquim, a historic church constructed in 1935 using basalt stones transported from nearby hills via ox carts. Afterwards, we’ll visit the Monument to Manoel Joaquim Pinto, an outdoor area adorned with stone and wood sculptures that narrate the local history.

If you find yourself feeling hungry, we’ll take a break around noon in the city center, allowing you to enjoy lunch at a local eatery of your choice.

The journey will continue with visits to Praça João Ribeiro and Praça Cesário Amarante, as well as the Municipal History Museum. Next, we will ascend to the Mirante dos Pinheiros, which offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city alongside a field of towering monkey puzzle trees reaching heights of up to 50 meters (164 feet).

To conclude our São Joaquim experience, we’ll tour the Villa Francioni winery, where you’ll gain insights into its facilities and the wine production process, followed by a tasting of this exquisite beverage.

After an enriching five-hour excursion, we will return you to your hotel in São Joaquim.
