On this layover tour, we will pick you up from São Paulo-Guarulhos International Airport and take you on an hour-long journey to the city center, allowing you to experience the charm and beauty of São Paulo seamlessly.
How it Works
During the tour, we will begin at the precise location where São Paulo was founded. From there, we’ll embark on a short historical walking tour in downtown São Paulo, visiting the notable Sé Cathedral, the fourth-largest Gothic cathedral in the world.
The tour continues in a private vehicle, providing you with panoramic views of significant sites such as the Neo-Romanesque San Benito Monastery, the Altino Arantes building, and the Martinelli building, which is known as the city's first skyscraper. You'll also observe the Italian Tower, the second tallest building in Brazil. Additionally, we will uncover historical landmarks including the Law School, Tea Bridge, Municipal Theatre, and the St. Francis Church, dating back to the 18th century.
Next, we will visit the City Hall, which is constructed entirely of travertine marble, and proceed to the Liberdade neighborhood, home to the largest Japanese community outside Japan. We will also take you to the green oasis of the city, Ibirapuera Park, before exploring the bustling Avenida Paulista.
The tour concludes at the Municipal Market, one of the oldest in São Paulo, known for its diverse food stalls offering the city’s most delectable dishes. This spot is perfect for grabbing a bite before you continue your journey back to the airport.
