The adventure kicks off at the iconic Alamo, where a guided tour will bring its storied past to life. As we navigate through the courtyard, fascinating accounts of the 1836 Battle of the Alamo will unfold. We will have the opportunity to see significant historical artifacts, including the 16-pounder cannon and the barracks. Additionally, we’ll meander through the serene gardens, providing a peaceful retreat beneath the oak tree canopy on these historic grounds.
On our way to the next destination, we’ll enjoy enchanting views of various points of interest, with our guide sharing insightful narratives.
Continuing, we will immerse ourselves in San Antonio’s rich history and scenic landscapes within national parks, while unraveling the tales of those who established the Spanish missions during the 1700s. Our exploration will lead us to Mission San Jose, the most prominent of the city’s four southern Spanish Colonial Missions. Known as the “Queen of the Missions,” its impressive stone walls and granary are sure to captivate every visitor.
No visit to San Antonio would be complete without ascending the Tower of the Americas via elevator, reaching a breathtaking height of 190 m (623 ft)! This observation deck, the highest in Texas, offers sweeping vistas of San Antonio.
To conclude our journey, we will travel to the renowned River Walk, an urban waterway stretching 15 miles (24 kilometers), where we will embark on a serene 35-minute cruise. As we glide along, we’ll uncover the city's cultural, historical, and architectural treasures, passing landmarks such as the historic neighborhood of La Villita, Old Mill Crossing, and Selena’s Bridge.
