We will begin our journey at 8 am from the Ocean View Hotel in Campeche, heading south towards Champotón, renowned as one of the most picturesque towns along the western Yucatan Peninsula coast!

Your first destination will be the San José Carpizo hacienda, found in the northwest area of Champotón. The remnants of this 19th-century cattle and henequen estate showcase the architectural style of the period, offering a glimpse into local history.

Next, join us for a guided exploration of downtown Champotón. Here, we will wander through the charming historic center, visiting the lively main square and admiring the colonial architecture of the church of Nuestra Señora de las Mercedes.

Recognized as the gastronomic hub of Campeche, Champotón invites you to enjoy an hour of free time after the city tour for lunch. Sample the region’s diverse array of traditional dishes; local recipes prominently feature fish and seafood. If you prefer, be sure to try their specialties made with beans and meat.

Post-lunch, we will proceed to the Costa del Sol beach club, where you can unwind for an hour, lounging in the sun or taking a break in the hammocks.

Our trip will conclude with a return to the meeting point, expected to arrive around 3 pm.
