When reserving, you can select from the following private experiences, with a duration ranging from 4 to 9 hours. All include hotel pick-up, private transportation, and a guide fluent in English. Below is a concise overview of each tour:

Orion's Gate and the Black Lagoon Excursion (4 Hours)

At the arranged time, we’ll collect you from your hotel to kick off this exhilarating tour. Along the way, a delightful breakfast will be provided to energize you for the day ahead.

Our initial destination is Orion's Gate, a striking natural rock formation named for its resemblance to the Orion constellation. We will enjoy a leisurely stroll through this extraordinary setting, allowing us to appreciate the vibrant nature surrounding us.

Next, we’ll proceed to Laguna Negra, where a canoe awaits us for a serene ride over its tranquil waters. During this journey, we will bask in the beauty of the verdant landscape and have the chance to spot local endemic birds.

Finally, we will return you to your starting point.

Cerro Azul Excursion (8 Hours)

After an early morning pick-up from your hotel, we’ll set out towards Cerro Azul, a stunning open-air site featuring remarkable cave paintings. You will be awed by the scale of this location!

Upon arrival, we will embark on a 3-hour hike to a tepuy standing at an elevation of 200 meters (656 ft). At the summit, you’ll be captivated by the enchanting surroundings of this World Heritage Site.

During our exploration, we will observe countless pictograms etched into the rocks, remnants of ancient cultures. We'll also venture inside the tepuy, where we can experience the "poetry of nature" and connect with the energy of this unique environment.

Following this immersion in culture, we will visit the Cerro Pinturas farm to enjoy a delightful regional lunch. Afterward, we’ll return to San José del Guaviare.

Raudal del Guayabero Excursion (9 Hours)

Your day begins with pick-up at your hotel, from where we will journey to the Raudal del Guayabero. Upon arrival, we’ll board a canoe to glide through the stunning Guayabero River, where dramatic rock formations will certainly enchant you.

Following this, we’ll navigate to the base point, where we’ll begin a walking expedition lasting approximately 2.5 hours. Our goal is a rock art panel that offers a profound connection with the ancestral heritage of this region. We will then climb to a viewpoint to take in the mesmerizing river sounds and sights!

Once we have relaxed at the viewpoint, we will head back to the starting location. There, you’ll enjoy a satisfying lunch before returning to San José del Guaviare, where you will be dropped off at your hotel.

This tour includes a pick-up from hotels situated in the central district of San José del Guaviare. If your accommodation is outside of this area, we will arrange a meeting point at the main square of San José.
