Twilight Tour of Old San Juan

Our journey begins at the scheduled time in the renowned Plaza Colón. Are you prepared to embark on this time-traveling adventure? Over the next two hours, we'll wander the storied streets of Old San Juan, unveiling architectural wonders and local legends that trace back to the year 1493. The highlight of our excursion will be witnessing the enchanting sunset over the city.

As darkness sets in, we will traverse the Plaza de la Barandilla, where the elegant Baldority de Castro school building awaits us. Our path will then lead us to the Plaza de Armas, where the grand façade of the Town Hall and the Fountain of the Four Seasons can be admired.

Continuing our journey, we will explore one of the most remarkable historical structures in the area, the Old Palace of the Intendencia. Another key site on our tour will be the Chapel of Santo Cristo de la Salud, as well as the formidable fortress of San Juan and the Palace of Santa Catalina, all recognized as part of Puerto Rico’s UNESCO World Heritage.

Next, we will stroll along the celebrated San Sebastián street. Did you know this street is home to one of Puerto Rico's most notable festivals? We will share the fascinating details as we approach the San Juan Cathedral, where we will explore its interior and pay respects at the tomb of Juan Ponce de León.

Our journey will then take us to the Ballajá Barracks and the impressive San Felipe del Morro Castle, the most significant historical site in Puerto Rico. Witnessing these landmarks during sunset is an experience like no other!

The sunset tour will conclude at the Plaza de San José, wrapping up our guided experience two hours after we first began.
