Gjirokastër Excursion

Our journey begins at 9 am when we gather at Skënderbeu, 67. From there, we will board our vehicle and embark on a scenic trip to the delightful city of Gjirokastra, located approximately an hour's drive from Saranda.

As we arrive, the historic allure of this ancient fortress city will draw you in. A guided tour will kick off our exploration of this UNESCO World Heritage site, allowing us to uncover its intriguing Ottoman past.

The first highlight of our tour will be the impressive Caste of Gjirokastra. Following our castle visit, we will make our way to the Ethnographic Museum, where the interiors reflect the exquisite design of 19th-century homes. We will also explore The House of Zakat and Scaly, which holds the distinction of being the city's oldest residence.

Continuing our adventure, we will visit the museum house of Ismail Kadare. Afterward, you'll have some leisure time to wander the city at your own pace and savor a local lunch.

Concluding our tour, we will reboard the vehicle for a return trip to the meeting point, with a total duration of approximately 5 hours.
