Tour Details

We'll meet at the indicated time at the Marina of Porticciolo di Bagnara Calabra, just 10 km (6.2 mi) from Scilla. There, we'll board a boat with music on board and karaoke, perfect to liven up our trip along the Costa Viola, one of the wildest and least explored areas of Calabria. Let's set sail!

Our first stop will be at the Grotta del Monaco, a natural cave with a mysterious silhouette reminiscent of a monk in prayer. Nearby is the Chiesa del Monaco, a rock formation that, according to tradition, looks like a church sculpted by nature itself. It will surprise you!

We'll continue sailing until we reach Cala Janculla, a small beach that is difficult to access by land, surrounded by cliffs and vegetation. Here, the water is so clear that you can see the seabed from the surface!

Further on, we'll reach the Grotta delle Rondini, whose name comes from the numerous swallows that nest inside it. We'll also pass by Cala Leone, another hidden gem where the blue of the sea contrasts with the reddish tones of the rocks.

During the tour, we'll make two stops of 40 minutes each so that you can swim in these crystal-clear waters, known for their therapeutic properties for the body. You'll also be able to snorkel and marvel at the richness of the seabed and the biodiversity it harbours.

One of the highlights of the trip will be a visit to the Piscina di Venere, a natural pool protected by prominent rock formations. According to legend, it was Venus' favourite place for her secret baths—a paradise for the senses!

Finally, we'll return to the port of Bagnara Calabra after a 2.5-hour boat trip along the Costa Viola.
