Jeonju Day Trip
Description
Embark on this excursion to Jeonju from Seoul, where you'll discover the charm of Jeonju Hanok Village, renowned for its traditional architecture, alongside the serene Jangtaesan Forest. Experience a blend of nature and heritage in just one day!
Trip Overview
Your journey begins with a morning pickup at a designated meeting point in Seoul. From there, we will travel approximately 3.5 hours by vehicle to reach Jeollabuk-do Province. Let’s commence our adventure!
Our first destination is Jeonju Hanok Village, the largest collection of traditional houses in South Korea. Here, you will have 3.5 hours to freely explore this vibrant area. With over 800 hanoks that reflect the architectural style and cultural heritage of the Joseon Dynasty, the contrast with the bustling modern city is truly remarkable!
During your free time for lunch, you can enjoy the stunning curved rooftops, rent a hanbok for memorable photographs, or indulge in the iconic bibimbap, a local specialty. The decision on how to spend your time is entirely yours!
After immersing yourself in the cultural richness of Jeonju, we’ll proceed with a drive of about 1.5 hours to the beautiful Jangtaesan Forest or Daedunsan (criteria for selection depend on the season).
Situated near Daejeon, this forest is celebrated for its vast expanse of gingko trees. Discover the unique features of these trees in a setting that’s perfect for a forest bath amid breathtaking views. You’ll have 2 hours available to wander and revel in the tranquil atmosphere.
At the end of the day, we will make our way back to Seoul with a 2.5-hour bus ride, returning to our original meeting point.
