We'll gather at the designated meeting point along the ER379-1 Highway to kick off our hiking adventure through the Arrábida Natural Park. Are you prepared to explore this exceptional natural gem? Let’s embark on our journey!

After a brief introduction, we will set off on our hike, winding through a terrain rich in both nature and historical significance. It’s noteworthy that this park was established in 1976 to safeguard the local flora. A key highlight of this area is its abundance of vegetation, featuring one of the rare examples of Mediterranean maquis.

Our path will guide us along the stunning cliffs that stretch between Sesimbra and Cabo Espichel, giving us the chance to observe native species and the local biodiversity. Numerous interesting insights await you along the way!

Covering a distance of 7 kilometers (4.35 miles), we will take in the majestic Arrábida mountain range, which towers over one of Portugal's most picturesque coastlines. The route will take us through the interplay of sea and mountains, revealing the wildlife, history, and traditions defining one of the Lisbon region’s most enchanting natural spaces. It’s truly remarkable!

After four hours of exploration, we will conclude our hiking experience in the Arrábida Natural Park, returning to our starting location.
