Doñana Day Trip

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Seville, hitting the road southwards and beginning our day trip.

Following the course of the Guadalquivir river, we'll cross Coria del Río towards the Dehesa de Abajo natural reserve. In this protected national park, we'll go bird spotting, as the climate and conditions of the wetlands attract a wealth of different species, including the largest European colony of storks.

The route then continues southwards in a 4x4, traversing the Guadalquivir marshes, until we arrive in El Rocio. Here, we'll visit the Hermitage and its virgin, celebrated every Monday during the Catholic period of Pentecost by hundreds of devotees. For those interested in ornithology, you'll also have the chance to see the SEO Observatory - managed by Spain's official ornithological society.

Next, we'll enjoy a walking tour around the Doñana national park, examining its various palaces. After touring these buildings on the banks of the river, you'll have free time to eat lunch. During the summer, you can even take a quick dip in the sea - don't forget your swimsuit!

After lunch, we'll explore the onubense dunes, the largest in Spain, before heading back to Seville.

The tour's departure is timed according to sunrise, offering the best opportunity for wildlife observation in the area. The start time may vary, but you will be contacted by the local provider after your reservation to confirm the exact pickup time.
