Alhambra Granada & Nasrid Palaces Day Trip
Description
Embark on a day trip from Seville to discover one of Spain's crown jewels, the Alhambra, renowned as the most frequented attraction throughout the nation and a must-see for all visiting Andalusia.
Day Trip Overview
At the arranged time, we will collect you from your chosen pickup location in Seville and set off on our journey toward Granada, the site of the country’s top monument: the Alhambra.
This site has held the title of a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1984 and was a contender in 2007 for the Seven New Wonders of the World. The Alhambra stands as a testament to the 200-year reign of the Nasrid Kingdom of Granada, which represents the final Spanish caliphate.
As we navigate through this magnificent palace complex, you will gain insights into its intricate architecture and unique features of each space. Our visit will cover the Nasrid Palaces, the Alcazaba Fortress, the Palace of Charles V, and the tranquil Generalife Gardens, providing you with a comprehensive understanding of the Alhambra.
To enrich your appreciation of the historical significance of the site, we will allocate free time to wander through the heart of Granada at your leisure, where you can savor some exquisite local cuisine.
Afterward, we will regroup at the bus and initiate our journey back to Seville, concluding our adventure approximately 11 to 12 hours after our initial pickup.
