At the designated time, our gathering point will be the main entrance of Casa Moreiras, renowned as one of the most historic wineries in Galicia. Fascinatingly, it was established in 1692.

This celebrated wine tourism hub is situated in the southern part of Lugo province, where we will uncover the origins and development of the wines under the Ribeira Sacra Designation of Origin.

During your booking, you have the flexibility to choose from the following experiences:

Winery Tour with 2 Wine Tastings (45 minutes)

Selecting this option allows us to begin with a guided exploration of the Casa Moreiras Winery. As we embark on this journey, we will step back into the 17th century to witness its beginnings.

Additionally, we will explore the various native grape types and understand the exceptional techniques employed in vineyard management. Our journey will also cover the distinct wine production methods.

The visit will culminate at the historic dovecote within the winery, where we will indulge in a tasting of 2 Ribeira Sacra wines.

Winery + Vineyard Visit + 3 Wine Tastings (1 hour)

Choosing this option provides an initial tour of the local vineyards. Here, we will learn to identify different grape varieties, uncover the distinctive traits of Ribeira Sacra's terroir and recognize the climatic factors that influence wine cultivation.

Following our vineyard excursion, we will proceed to a guided tour of the Casa Moreiras Winery, as mentioned earlier. This tour will end back in the tasting area of the ancient dovecote, where we will savor a tasting of 3 Ribeira Sacra wines.
