The journey begins with a pickup from the Holiday Inn Darling Harbor in Sydney at the scheduled time. Traveling south, prepare to be enchanted by the scenic beauty of the Highlands as we make our way towards Canberra, renowned as Australia's capital city.

After a travel time of approximately 3.5 hours, we will reach this charming city and commence our exploration from the comfort of our vehicle. A one-hour guided drive awaits, showcasing notable landmarks and architecturally unique buildings. Throughout the ride, you will appreciate the city’s distinctive layout, artfully designed and strategically planned.

Midday will present an opportunity to stop for lunch at a local restaurant, where we suggest indulging in the all-you-can-eat buffet—an excellent way to rejuvenate for the remaining activities!

With renewed energy, our next destination will be one of Canberra’s significant sites: Australia's Parliament House. Here, you will observe the seat of government up close and admire its modern design, representing the political essence of the nation. Inaugurated by Elizabeth II in 1988, this site has been a witness to many pivotal events in the nation’s history, which you'll learn about during your visit!

Subsequently, we will explore the renowned Lake Burley Griffin. Here, you can visit the Captain Cook Memorial alongside other notable locations such as the Supreme Court and the War Memorial, a dedicated center honoring all Australians who sacrificed their lives in military conflicts.

Our journey will then take us to the breathtaking Mount Ainslie Lookout, where panoramic views of Canberra await. This viewpoint serves as the ideal spot for capturing stunning photographs and appreciating the city from a higher vantage point!

As the day comes to a close, we will head back to Sydney, concluding our experience with fond farewells at the designated meeting point after an enriching 12-hour adventure.
