Constructed for the 1980 Moscow Olympic Games, this tower was established to enhance television coverage of the sailing events taking place in the Baltic Sea. The impressive 314-meter-tall tower stands as a notable landmark visible from various points around Tallinn.

Important: From May to September, the tower extends its hours, welcoming guests from 10 am to 7 pm.

The tower opens every day from 10 am to 6 pm. You can use your ticket at any time within its opening hours. It is located at number 58 A Kloostrimetsa tee.
Note: from May to September the tower opens from 10 am to 7 pm.
To get to the tower by public transport you can take buses 34 A and 38, which depart from Viru (in the centre of Tallinn). You can also go on the number 49 bus, which starts in the Lasnamäe neighbourhood. The Tallinn tourist bus, which departs from Viru, also stops next to the TV tower.
