Prepare to navigate the bustling roads of Tokyo from the driver's seat of a go-kart! We will gather at a central location to verify your driving qualifications and provide a quick safety briefing. If you wish to add a fun twist to your experience, you can dress in cosplay costumes available for rent. Once everyone is suited up, it will be time to start our Tokyo adventure – let's rev those engines! Each participant will drive their own go-kart, following the guide through the animated city streets.

1-Hour Asakusa Tour
If you're eager to explore Tokyo from a go-kart, let's convene at 2-18-15 Azumabashi Sumidaku. Time to start our engines!
This one-hour adventure will take you to the key landmarks of the Japanese capital, where the vibrant urban scenery transforms into an exhilarating racing backdrop. We will pass by notable spots like the Sensoji Temple, the Kaminarimon Gate, and the lively Ameyoko Market in Ueno, while also diving into the pop cultural heart of Akihabara. We will take a quick detour to admire Ueno Park and the well-known Kappabashi Street, known for its kitchenware shops, before concluding our journey back at the start point.
2-Hour Asakusa Tour
For those opting for a longer experience, we will meet at 2-18-15 Azumabashi Sumidaku to embark on a comprehensive tour of Asakusa, rich with commercial buildings, shrines, parks, and vibrant markets.
Your journey will kick off towards Toyosu Bay, showcasing various districts of Tokyo such as Ginza, Kanda, Akihabara, Ueno, Asakusa, and the impressive Tokyo Sky Tree. This is an exceptional opportunity to explore Tokyo's dynamic environment while driving in style!

We will return to our starting point after approximately 2 hours of exciting exploration.
1.5-Hour Shibuya Tour
In this tour option, we'll convene at 5 Chome-11-19 Shinjuku Shinjuku City at the designated time, starting at the Shinjuku Gyoen and the Shinjuku Gate entrance.
This excursion will guide us through the iconic sites of Shibuya, including Shibuya Crossing, Omotesando Street, and Harajuku, which is the hub of youth fashion and culture. We’ll also take a moment to enjoy Yoyogi Park and the vibrant Kabukicho district before appreciating the architecture of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government building.
At the end of 1.5 hours, we conclude our tour back at the assembly point.
2-Hour Shibuya Tour
This tour begins at 42 Kandahigashimatsushitacho Chiyoda City. As we familiarize ourselves with our karts, we will set off on a thrilling exploration of Tokyo’s most famous sights.
During our adventure, we will visit the Imperial Palace, Omotesando, and the renowned Shibuya Crossing. Stops will also include Roppongi and the iconic Tokyo Tower. Following the same route mentioned previously, we will head towards Tokyo Station and wrap up our 2-hour journey back at the meeting location.
Activity Requirements
On the day of your activity, please ensure to bring the following documents in their original format:
- A driver's license from your home country. It's crucial that the issuing country is among the signatory states of the Geneva Convention of 1949. If your license is from Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, Estonia, or Monaco, an official Japanese translation is required (available via the Online Application for Japanese Translation JAF). A SOFA (US military) license is also valid.
- An original AAA IDP (International Driving Permit); printed copies are not accepted.
- Your passport.
Important: Failure to present the necessary documentation in its original form (photocopies or digital copies will not be accepted) will result in disqualification from the tour, with no refunds provided. Furthermore, please be advised that international driving licenses under the Vienna Convention of 1968 are not valid in Japan.

Please be sure to arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.
Activity Requirements
As indicated within the instructions document linked above, on the day of the activity you must bring the following documents in physical format, valid and in force:
- Driver's license from your country of origin. It's important to note that the country issuing the driver's license must be on the list of signatory states of the Geneva Convention of 1949. If your driving licence is issued by Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, Estonia or Monaco, you'll have to submit an authorised official translation in Japanese (via the Online Application for Japanese Translation JAF). In addition, a SOFA (US military) driving license is also permitted.
- AAA IDP (International Driving Permit). This permit must be the original, it cannot be printed.
- Passport

- On the day of the activity, only if there is incurred damage to the go karts, you'll have to pay the compulsory insurance of 50000JPY per person.
- If, on the day of the activity, you do not bring the necessary documentation in its original form (photos or paper photocopies are not accepted), you won't be allowed to participate in the tour, and no refunds will be issued. In addition, please note that international driving licenses issued under the Vienna Convention of 1968 are not accepted in Japan.
