Established in 1932, the National Automobile Museum (Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile) stands as one of the premier automobile museums globally. Situated on Corso Unità d'Italia, this institution is dedicated to exploring the development and history of cars, featuring an extensive display of over 200 vehicles from 80 distinct manufacturers around the globe.
The array of exhibits spans from the initial steam and combustion engine models to the latest competitive automobiles and visionary prototypes. The exhibition path, updated in 2011, not only highlights vehicles but also situates them within the broader narrative of 20th and 21st-century social, economic, and cultural contexts, providing a captivating and interactive experience.
Opening Hours
The museum operates during the following hours:
- Tuesday to Sunday: from 10 am to 7 pm
- Monday: from 10 am to 2 pm
Final entry is permitted one hour prior to closing.
Sightseeing Bus
This ticket grants access to the museum's exhibition area and allows you to utilize Turin's sightseeing bus for 24 or 48 hours, depending on the chosen option.
Your ticket provides access to the bus’s red, blue, and green lines, allowing you to hop on and off at any stop within the various routes. Moreover, the blue line’s number 4 stop is conveniently located right in front of the museum’s entrance!

How It Operates
The ticket is active for 24 or 48 continuous hours from your first use. For instance, if activated on a Tuesday at 3 pm, it remains valid until Wednesday at 2:59 pm.
During this period, you can get on and off the bus as often as desired.
Schedule & Frequencies
The timetable for Turin's sightseeing bus is as follows:
- Red line: available daily from 10 am to 6 pm, with departures every 60 minutes
- Blue line: operating daily from 9:45 am to 5:15 pm, with buses every 90 minutes
- Green line: runs daily from 9:30 am to 4:55 pm, with intervals of 105 or 120 minutes
Note: the blue and green lines will commence service in April 2025.

National Automobile Museum
This ticket is valid for 48 hours after its first use. Please note that the final admission to the museum is 1 hour before closing. The tickets must be redeemed on board the bus or at the Sightseeing Experience information center, located on Piazza Castello, at the corner with Via Po.
