At the agreed time, our team will gather you from your accommodation in Ushuaia to embark on a brief journey to the base of Cerro Cortez.

Upon our arrival at the base of this Tierra del Fuego mountain, we'll commence an engaging hiking adventure covering a distance of 6 kilometres (3.72 miles), with a climb of approximately 550 metres (1804 ft.). Are you prepared for this adventure in the southernmost region of Argentina?

The hike kicks off as we traverse a lush lenga forest. As we ascend, the woods will give way to breathtaking panoramas of Ushuaia Bay. We'll also catch glimpses of the Beagle Channel, a body of water that marks the border between Argentina and Chile.

Our trek will lead us upward to the summit of Cerro Cortez. At the peak, expect magnificent views featuring Cerro Portillo and Monte Olivia. This is a perfect opportunity to capture stunning photographs of these enchanting landscapes!

We'll pause briefly at the top for a delightful picnic-style lunch accompanied by a warm beverage.

Once we've finished our meal, we will retrace our steps back down the trail. Our transportation will be waiting to take us back to Ushuaia, and we anticipate returning to your hotels after approximately 8 hours together.
