Viñales Valley Bike Tour
Description
Explore the rich heritage of western Cuba on an engaging cycling excursion through the Viñales Valley. Embrace a journey into history while navigating the region's vibrant jungle terrains on a bike. This captivating locale is also recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Options
When reserving your spot, you have the choice between two distinct tour formats. Both options commence and conclude at Orlando Nodarse Street, and each includes an English-speaking guide, bike rental, and entry fees. Below, you will find a summary of both choices:
Viñales Valley Tour (3 Hours)
At your selected time, our team will meet you at Calle Orlando Nodarse, and following a brief overview, we will provide you with your bicycles. Are you ready to embark on an unforgettable journey through this beautiful Cuban valley?
Your adventure begins at the Mirador de los Jazmines, a scenic viewpoint offering breathtaking vistas of the Viñales Valley.
Next, we will ride towards the Cueva del Indio, a cave that once served as a dwelling for Indigenous Peoples. Here, we'll take a brief stroll through the cavern, marveling at various stalactite and stalagmite formations. Additionally, we’ll enjoy a boat ride along the underground river that flows through the cave.
Before concluding the tour, we will also stop at the Mural of Prehistory to gain insights into the ancient history of the Viñales region, accompanied by a refreshing piña colada.
The bike journey will wrap up after three hours, returning you to the initial meeting point.
- Schedule: available every day at 8 am, 8:30 am, 9 am, 1 pm, 1:30 pm, and 2 pm
Viñales Valley Tour + Lunch (4 Hours)
This alternative adds a delightful twist. Alongside following the same route as detailed earlier, you will enjoy a traditional meal at a local restaurant in Viñales upon completion of the bike tour.
- Schedule: available daily at 9 am
Viñales Valley Tour + Zip Line & Lunch (5 Hours)
For those seeking a more extensive experience, this option is ideal. You will traverse the Viñales Valley as described previously, and we will inject some excitement with a thrilling stop at El Fortín for ziplining before heading to the Cueva del Indio.
