Available Tour Choices

When you make your booking, you can select from two different options, both of which comprise minibus transportation, kayak gear, and an English-speaking guide. Below are the specifics for each choice.

Half-Day Kayaking Experience

Your adventure begins at 10 am with a ferry ride from Gazenica port to Dugi Otok. This voyage lasts approximately 1.5 hours, during which you'll take in the breathtaking vistas of the surrounding archipelago.

Once we reach Dugi Otok, we'll gather at the Brbinj port and board a minibus to our first destination, the pristine sands of Veli Žal. Here, you can enjoy swimming, kayak exploration, and a guided tour of Mezanj Island.

After two hours, we’ll hop back on the bus to head to the tour's highlight. We’ll take the kayaks to a spot ideal for cliff diving and a refreshing swim. Experience the thrill of swimming inside a mesmerizing color-changing cave that reacts to sunlight!

Having taken in the island's beauty, we'll conclude our tour and return to Gazenica port, arriving around 6:50 pm.

Full-Day Kayaking Experience

For those seeking a more immersive journey, the full-day tour provides an expanded experience. Similar to the half-day option, you will take a ferry from Gazenica port to Dugi Otok, with an arrival time of around 1.5 hours later.

Upon disembarking, we’ll transfer to the bay and commence our kayaking journey. Throughout the tour, we will uncover hidden caves and leap from towering cliffs as we navigate the island's stunning landscapes—an exhilarating adventure awaits! We'll then proceed to the northern coast of the island, where you can enjoy some leisure time to grab a meal.

After lunch, our journey continues with a paddle to a sunken ship, where you can enjoy snorkeling. We will then glide to the white sandy beach of Sakarun for an idyllic pause to swim and bask in the sunshine.

After a full day of exploration, we will head back to Zadar port.

Tour Schedule

• The half-day tour operates every Friday during April and May, Monday to Saturday in June, Monday to Thursday throughout July and August, and Monday to Friday in September. It also runs on the first two Fridays of October.
• The full-day tour is available from April 15 to May 31 on Sundays only. From June 1 to 30, every day except the first three Saturdays. Daily from July 1 to August 31, and every day in September with the exception of Saturdays.

Ferry Fare Information

It is important to note that ferry tickets are not included in either of the tour options. You will need to buy them separately for 7 EUR each way. Detailed instructions will be provided during the reservation process.
