Tour Overview

At the scheduled time, we will gather at Estrada do Alto da Portela s/n. From this location in the outlying area of Arouca, our buggy expedition will commence. You will take charge of these robust vehicles while being guided throughout the journey.

Depending on your selection, this buggy experience in Arouca can vary from 1 to 3 hours. We will navigate through various sections of the Arouca Geopark, traversing hills and valleys that offer picturesque views of the stunning Serra da Freita.

During our trip, we will also catch a glimpse of the renowned 516 Arouca, recognized as the world’s longest pedestrian suspension bridge. This bridge stands as one of the iconic landmarks of northern Portugal. While we won't be crossing it, you will have the opportunity to admire it from our vehicles and capture some breathtaking photos.

After immersing ourselves in the rich biodiversity and natural beauty of Arouca, we will conclude this buggy adventure back at the initial meeting spot.

Participation Criteria

Each buggy is designed to accommodate up to 2 or 4 individuals. Passengers can switch drivers if they meet the necessary criteria.

To operate the buggy, participants are required to be at least 18 years old and possess a valid type B driving license.

It is important to note that the stated prices are per vehicle rather than per individual.
