Lake Chala Excursion

Your adventure starts at 8 am when we will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha. We will set off towards the Tanzanian-Kenyan border, which is where Lake Chala can be found.

As we travel for approximately three hours, you will notice Kilimanjaro on your left as we make our way to the lake. Upon arrival, you will be captivated by the lake's impressive length of 3 kilometers and the stunning hues of its waters, shifting between turquoise and emerald green. Our guide will share intriguing insights about its volcanic formation and the unique features of this captivating landscape.

It’s then time to engage in some canoeing. We will paddle through a portion of Lake Chala, soaking in the serenity of its surface. Once we return to shore, a delightful picnic lunch awaits to replenish our energy after a day of exploring nature!

As this memorable day comes to an end, we will arrive back in Arusha by 5 pm, refreshed and energized.
