The coastline is a highlight of this charming destination in northern Portugal. Interested in discovering its most celebrated beaches? Our adventure begins at the designated time on Rua de João Mendoça, where we will hop on a comfortable minibus ready to transport us to these beautiful spots. Let’s set off!

Our initial stop will be Praia da Costa Nova do Prado, renowned for its colorful housefronts styled in the traditional coquette manner. Paired with the extensive sandy shores kissed by the Atlantic, this beach is a top choice for those enjoying the summer in Aveiro.

Next, we will travel to Praia da Barra, a breathtaking beach dominated by its striking red and white lighthouse, an emblem of the region. Here, the calm waters invite relaxation, and you’ll appreciate a stroll along the charming wooden walkways that enhance the experience.

Along our seaside journey, we will also explore the remarkable salt mines, visit the University, and stop by the Maritime Port. This will provide insight into the rich history and engaging tales of Aveiro’s coastline.
