Description
Your adventure begins at the specified time at the Bodø Tourist Information Point, where we will board a minibus heading to the Åselidalen Valley. Are you ready to embark on a remarkable trekking experience?
Upon arrival, the striking Børvasstindane Mountains will greet us in the distance. These prominent peaks are part of Bodø's "Hidden Valley", a site rich in geological history. As we traverse the Åselidalen Valley, shaped by ancient glaciers, our guide will help us reveal the mysteries of these formidable mountains, each exceeding 1000 metres (3281 feet) in height.
During our trek, we will navigate through serene lakes and intricate paths, ensuring a comfortable experience for participants of all fitness levels. We’ll make several stops to admire the breathtaking landscapes, enhancing the enjoyment of our journey.
A key highlight of the hiking path includes a visit to Saltstraumen, where you can observe the currents of the Norwegian Sea separating the Straumen and Straumøya islands.
Concluding our expedition, we will head back to our original meeting location, completing our adventure after approximately 7 hours.

We'll meet at the Bodø Tourist Information Point, located at 13 Tollbugata, Bodø 8006, Nordland, NO.
Please arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before the tour starts.
On the day of the tour, we recommend that you bring warm clothes and hiking shoes. You should also bring your own snacks.
