Our adventure begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Bogota, scheduled between 7 am and 8:30 am, as we head toward the Nemocón salt mines, which boast over 500 years of captivating history beneath the earth.
Once inside the mine's caverns, we'll witness stunning natural springs, a cascading salt waterfall, and unique salt formations. The distinct aroma of saltpetre will greet you at every turn! Throughout the guided experience, you'll discover numerous scientific insights and historical anecdotes that illustrate the significance of this extraordinary location.
As we conclude the mine tour, we'll embark on a brief exploration of the nearby village, showcasing attractions such as the enchanting park of the Seven Legends and the elegant neoclassical Church of Saint Francis of Assisi.
Our return journey will bring you back to your hotel in Bogota, with an arrival time estimated between 2:30 pm and 4 pm.
