Tour Overview
Day 1: Arriving in Cairo
Upon arrival, we will await your landing at the airport to assist with visa processing and immigration. Following this, you'll be transported to your hotel, where you'll have the opportunity to dine at a local restaurant. For arrivals later than 9 p.m., a cold picnic will be provided at the hotel instead of dinner.
Day 2: Exploring Giza, Memphis, and Cairo
After breakfast, our first destination is the Great Pyramid of Giza, along with the Pyramid of Khafre, Pyramid of Menkaure, and the Sphinx, located in the renowned archaeological zone nearby. Following this, a visit to a papyrus institute will offer insight into the ancient paper-making techniques. The exploration next leads us to Memphis and Saqqara, which marks the remnants of the original ancient Cairo.
Enjoying lunch afterward, you can unwind at the hotel before embarking on a night tour of Cairo. Marvel at the illuminated city as we visit the Café of Mirrors, culminating the evening with a taste of the local cuisine at a traditional restaurant.
Day 3: A Day in Cairo
Your third day is committed to visiting the Saladin Citadel of Cairo, The Alabaster Mosque, and the Khan el-Khalili Souk Market. Wander through this historic market and engage with Cairo's vibrant artisan culture, offering a variety of jewels, perfumes, and musical instruments.
Our adventures will continue at the Grand Egyptian Museum, where you can view over 500,000 artifacts from Ancient Egypt housed in 12 galleries. A visit to the Coptic Quarter is next, before returning to the hotel for some rest. This day will certainly provide a comprehensive understanding of Cairo!
Day 4: From Cairo to Aswan
After breakfast, we'll head to the airport for a flight to Aswan, the southernmost city in Egypt, historically known as Syene. This city was once a significant quarry for stone used in monumental statues. On arrival, we will transfer you to your hotel where you can relax until the next day.
Day 5: Aswan - Abu Simbel - Aswan
Our fifth day kicks off with a hotel pickup as we proceed to board the cruise ship that will facilitate our exploration of the Nile.
The first stop will be the enchanting Philae Temple, situated on a picturesque island and often referred to as the Jewel of the Nile. To delve deeper into Aswan's history, we will drive to Abu Simbel to explore its iconic temples.
After a day of adventure, we will return to the ship for the night.
Day 6: Navigating from Aswan to Edfu via Kom Ombo
On the sixth day, relish the beauty of sailing the Nile as we make our way to Kom Ombo. We will disembark during sunset to explore its historic temple. This site, dating back to the Ptolemaic dynasty, is notable for its unique double design, dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Horus.
As the evening continues, enjoy dinner onboard as we head towards Edfu.
Day 7: Edfu to Luxor
Our morning will begin with a visit to the Edfu Temple, regarded as the second-largest temple in Egypt and among the best preserved. Here, you will explore fascinating murals that narrate its storied past.
Post-visit, we will return to the boat, navigate through the lock, and make our way towards Luxor.
Note: The visit to Edfu will take place via horse-drawn carriage. If you prefer an alternative mode of transportation, please inform the guide a day in advance to arrange for a car or bus.
Day 8: Immersed in Luxor - On to Hurghada
Your eighth day is dedicated to Luxor, where you’ll enjoy a packed itinerary exploring the ancient city known as Thebes during the New Kingdom. Key stops include Karnak, Luxor Temple, The Colossi of Memnon, and The Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut. Lastly, we will visit the globally famous Valley of the Kings, home to numerous pharaohs' tombs of the New Kingdom.
After our Luxor tour, we proceed for a drive to Hurghada, a journey of about four hours, with a break along the route.
Upon arrival, check into your hotel, enjoy dinner, and unwind.
Day 9: Leisure in Hurghada
Following a dynamic exploration of Luxor, today's schedule allows for relaxation in Hurghada, a premier beach destination by the Red Sea. Spend the day enjoying the friendly resort facilities.
Day 10: Relaxation in Hurghada
For the final day in Hurghada, consider a swim in the Red Sea to experience its brilliant waters teeming with vibrant coral and marine life.
Day 11: Departure from Hurghada to Cairo
After having breakfast, we will take a flight back to Cairo, providing assistance until you are checked in for your international flight.
Your departure day will vary depending on your flight schedule. If your flight is early, we’ll depart from Hurghada ahead of time, offering a continental breakfast or take-away options. If your flight is later in the day, enjoy a hotel breakfast before heading to the airport in Hurghada for your flight to Cairo.

Important Info
