Itinerary

After picking you up from your hotel at the scheduled time, we will head to Midan Al Qalaa, located in the historic heart of Cairo.

Our first visit will be to the Al-Rifai Mosque, also known as the Royal Mosque, a striking example of a 19th-century mosque.

In close proximity, you will find the Mosque and Madrasa of Sultan Hassan, constructed in 1361. These monuments rank among the most magnificent buildings from the Mamluk period, a time characterized by Ottoman grandeur in Egypt.

Next, we will visit the Ibn Tulun Mosque, the largest and the oldest mosque in the city. Built between 876 and 879 in the ancient district of Al-Qatta´i under the direction of Ahmad Ibn Tulun, it stands as a significant historical site.

After our exploration of the mosques, we will enjoy a meal at a typical restaurant, where a menu showcasing various salads, a main dish (options include beef, fish, or chicken), rice, pasta, vegetables, and a selection of desserts and fruits will be offered.

The tour will then proceed with a visit to the Gayer-Anderson Museum and a stroll alongside the famous city walls, a remarkable area filled with monuments from the historical era.

Concluding the tour, we will return to your hotel approximately 5 hours after the initial pickup.
