Whale Watching Adventure from Cali

The experience begins at 4:30 am at Hotel Intercontinental Cali. From this point, we will board a bus heading towards Colombia's largest port, Buenaventura. After a scenic drive lasting approximately two and a half hours, we will arrive at our destination to enjoy a delightful breakfast.

Subsequently, we will board a boat for an hour-long journey through the Pacific waters, staying alert for the humpback whales that frequent this region during their seasonal visit of three months.

Following this, our tour will progress to Playa Juanchaco. Upon arrival, we will embark on another boat excursion to continue our encounter with these magnificent sea creatures. In addition to whales, there’s a good chance to spot turtles, dolphins, and pelicans in the area.

After a memorable morning spent with these ocean giants, we will break for lunch and then enjoy a leisurely afternoon at the beach before making our way back to Hotel Intercontinental Cali, with an expected arrival time of 10 pm.
