Exploration of a Maya Community

After pick-up from your Cancun hotel at the designated time, we will commence this enriching journey, immersing ourselves in a night filled with age-old Maya traditions and a captivating atmosphere.

Traveling by bus, we will arrive at a Maya community, where we will gain an understanding of their way of life and cultural heritage. Community members will graciously greet us and guide us through their village, which remains closely tied to the customs of their ancestors.

Participants will have the unique opportunity to experience daily life away from the city by taking part in a handmade tortilla workshop. Following this, we will witness a fire ceremony and engage in a significant Maya practice honoring Mother Earth, known as the temazcal. This cleansing steam bath using volcanic stones will help rejuvenate both body and spirit.

We will then take a plunge in a genuine cenote, celebrated by the ancient Maya as sacred sites.

To conclude this extraordinary evening, a traditional Maya dinner will be served, complemented by hibiscus water.

Finally, we will make our way back to Cancun by bus, with an estimated drop-off at your hotel around 10:15 PM.
