Walking Tour in Caracas
Your journey will begin with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Caracas, followed by a visit to Plaza Bolivar, the pulsating heart of the historic downtown. This is where we'll commence our tour, leading us to the Museum of Caracas, a gateway to understanding the rich heritage of this Venezuelan capital.
The museum, established in 1673 and recognized as a National Historic Monument, was once the site of the former cemetery adjacent to the Metropolitan Cathedral. It now stands as a testament to the city's deep-rooted history.
Our next destination is the Museo Bolivariano, conveniently positioned at the intersection of Pajaritos. Here, we will delve into Venezuelan history through its captivating exhibits. Following this, we’ll walk towards Plaza San Jacinto, also known as Plaza El Venezolano. This significant site is the birthplace of Simón Bolívar, or the "Liberator," allowing us to gain valuable insights into his life and enduring impact.
After exploring Bolívar's birthplace, we’ll journey to the Casa del Vínculo y del Retorno, a historic residence with profound connections to the independence struggles against the Spanish Crown and subsequently against Gran Colombia.
This enriching 3-hour tour through Caracas’s historic nucleus will conclude as we return you to your hotel.
Tour Without Pickup Option
If you prefer an independent approach, you can opt for the tour without a pickup service. In this case, you will need to make your way to the designated meeting point at Plaza Bolivar.

The start times for the tour vary based on your chosen option:
- With Pickup: at 7:30 am or 1:00 pm
- Without Pickup: at 10:00 am or 2:00 pm

Tour with pick-up
If you choose the pickup option, we'll pick you up at the hotel in Gran Caracas that you indicated when you made your reservation. Please be ready to go at least 10 minutes in advance.
In this case, remember that the pickup schedules are at 7:30 am or at 1 pm, depending on your chosen time during the booking process.
Tour without pickup
If you have selected the option without pickup, we'll meet at Plaza Bolívar, located at the following address: Edificio Casa del Profesor, Av. Las Acacias, Caracas 1041, Distrito Capital.
For the morning tours, please be sure to arrive at 10 am, and for the afternoon tours, at 2 pm. Please be sure to arrive at least 10 minutes in advance.
You will recognize the guide for wearing a blue cap, white shirt, and a megaphone of Ola Ola Travel.
