By obtaining your ticket to the Molinete Roman Forum Museum, you will explore one of Cartagena's and Spain's most remarkable archaeological locations.

The site features several significant buildings, notably the Temple of Isis, the thermal baths of the Port, a social hub for Roman citizens, and the Atrium structure, which served as the gathering place for the collegium to honor the goddess Isis with feasts. These structures were strategically arranged along the decumanus, the central artery of the city during Roman times.

Your visit will guide you through the ancient streets of Carthago Nova adorned with unique artwork on its walls. Immerse yourself in the daily life of ancient Romans, who engaged in worship and festive gatherings.

As you navigate the museum's various sections, you will uncover the rich history of Cerro del Molinete through an impressive collection of artifacts and ancient remnants.

This restored complex, honored with the National Prize for Restoration & Conservation of Cultural Heritage in 2012, has undergone significant upgrades, resulting in an enhanced experience for visitors at the newly established Molinete Roman Forum Museum.

Availability of the archaeological site is as follows:

• July 1 to September 15: Monday to Sunday: 10 am to 8 pm
• March 15 to June 30 & September 16 to November 1: Tuesday to Sunday: 10 am to 7 pm
• November 2 to March 14: Tuesday to Sunday: 10 am to 5:30 pm

Take note that the last entry is permitted one hour prior to the closing time.

The museum is not operational on January 1 and 6 and December 25; afternoon hours are reduced on January 5 and December 24 and 31.

Reduced fare

Discounted tickets are available for students under 25, holders of a Youth Card, the unemployed, retirees, individuals with disabilities, and large families. Valid identification must be presented at the entry.
