Tour Overview

Your journey begins with a pick-up from your accommodation at the designated time. Setting off aboard a comfortable bus, we will venture into the heart of the capital, uncovering its notable attractions and rich surroundings.

The first highlight of our tour will be the Miraflores Museum, home to an extensive array of archaeological artifacts sourced from the Kaminal Juyú site, an ancient Mayan civilization that dates back to 1200 BC.

Next, we will visit Cerrito del Carmen, where a Catholic church stands that has undergone three reconstructions. Here, we’ll delve into its history before continuing to the historic center of Guatemala City to admire the façade of the Metropolitan Cathedral. Afterwards, we will return to the Miraflores Museum to explore its dedicated exhibition on the Mayan world.

A stop at a local eatery will provide an opportunity to taste the flavors of the region at your leisure. Once we’ve enjoyed a satisfying meal, our group will stroll along 6th Avenue, culminating at Plaza Berlín. This vantage point offers spectacular panoramic views of the majestic mountains and volcanoes that frame the southern part of the city — a perfect moment for a memorable photograph!

We will conclude our adventure approximately seven to eight hours after departing, returning you to your original pickup location.
