This excursion departs from Cuneo and offers an enchanting snowshoe hike through the Occitan Valleys, where winter’s charm envelops the stunning Piedmont mountains. As you navigate through trails blanketed in snow, you'll find yourself surrounded by breathtaking peak views and enchanting snowy woodlands.

Details of the Activity

At the arranged time, we will collect you from your chosen meeting point and board a vehicle to venture out of Cuneo. Are you prepared to immerse yourself in the Occitan Valleys, a place where snowflakes, history, and serenity coalesce? Let’s begin our journey!

After a scenic drive lasting between 45 minutes to an hour, we will arrive at the starting point, donning our snowshoes for an expedition into the heart of the Occitan Valleys.

While you stroll, you will be captivated by the winter landscape; the snowy forests, frozen streams, and towering peaks framed against the vivid blue sky create a picturesque setting. Feel the crunch of snow beneath your feet as you inhale the crisp mountain air.

Throughout the hike, revel in complete tranquility, broken only by the whispers of nature and the stories we share. You will learn about the rich Occitan culture and its traditions, listen to ancient legends rooted in these valleys, and discover the enduring bond between people and the mountains through time.

Midway, we will pause at a thoughtfully chosen location, where you can take a break and enjoy your packed lunch amidst a stunning backdrop.

After approximately three hours of snowshoeing, we will head back to the original starting point. Following this, our journey back to Cuneo will commence, where we’ll part ways after a fulfilling experience lasting between 5 to 7 hours.
