Cusco Bus Tour with Folkloric Performance
We will gather at Plaza de Armas at the designated time to kick off a thrilling sightseeing journey through Cusco. Are you prepared to explore the wonders of this ancient Inca capital in a fun and unique style? Let’s embark!
Before hopping on the bus, we'll enjoy a 45-minute guided walking tour of the Imperial City of Cusco, highlighting the Qoricancha Temple, known as the golden sanctuary of the Incas. Along our path, we will admire the impressive Great Historical Mural, crafted by local artist Juan Bravo Vizcarra. The walking segment continues along Avenida El Sol, leading us to the bus station to commence our sightseeing adventure.
Our first destination will be the Statue of Christ, where breathtaking views of Peru's historic capital await. Following this, the scenic journey continues, and soon enough, you will experience the traditional dances of Paucartambo. We will delve into the stories behind key figures of this cultural heritage, including Majeño, Pablitos, and Saqras, enriching your understanding of Cusco's vibrant traditions.
Next, we will stop at the Huayllarcocha Lagoon, where a folkloric show depicting the capture of Kukuli will take place. To conclude this enriching experience, we’ll visit a local restaurant for a workshop on preparing a pisco sour, one of Peru's iconic beverages. Naturally, tasting this refreshing drink will be part of the fun!
After a fulfilling 5-hour adventure immersing ourselves in the culture of Cusco, we will return to our original meeting point.
