Details of the 4-Day Tour

Day 1: Arrival in Cusco

Your journey begins as we meet you at the arrivals area of the Cusco airport. After a warm welcome, we will transport you to your hotel, allowing you time to settle in and enjoy lunch at your leisure.

At 1 pm, we will commence a guided exploration of Cusco, visiting the vibrant main square and the stunning cathedral. The tour will also cover historical sites, including the Temple of Qoricancha, or Temple of the Sun, significant to Inca spirituality; the grand fortress of Sacsayhuaman; the ceremonial site of Qenqo; the charming Puca Pucara ("Red Watchtower"); and Tambomachay, known as the Bath of the Inca.

Conclude the day by enjoying dinner at the hotel in Cusco, preparing for the adventures of the next day.

Day 2: Trek to Rainbow Mountain

We will rise early to journey by bus to Chirihuani in the Cusipata district, where a delightful Andean breakfast awaits. Following this, we will hike toward Rainbow Mountain, also referred to as Apu Vinicunca, for approximately 1.5 hours, leading us to the mystical foothills of the Red Valley.

Our trek will ascend to an impressive elevation of 17,060 ft (5,200 meters), culminating at the breathtaking Vinicunca Mountain. You will be given ample time to capture the stunning landscape! We will then retrace our steps back to Cusipata to relish a traditional Cusquenian lunch before returning to the vibrant city of Cusco.

Day 3: Visit to Machu Picchu

A visit to Machu Picchu, designated as one of the 7 Wonders of the Modern World, is essential for any traveler to Peru! Around 4 am, we will depart from the hotel toward the Ollantaytambo train station. Here, we will board a train that delivers us on a remarkable journey through mesmerizing mountain vistas until we reach Aguas Calientes.

Upon arrival, we will take a bus up to Machu Picchu, the legendary lost city of the Inca Empire. Engage in a captivating 2-hour guided tour, where you will uncover the rich history and hidden mysteries of this ancient site!

After exploring, we will return by bus to Aguas Calientes, granting you 2 hours of leisure time to relax in the town's thermal baths. In the afternoon, we will travel back by train to Ollantaytambo, followed by a bus ride back to your hotel in Cusco, where you can unwind and dine independently.

Day 4: Departure from Cusco

On your final day, enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel. Following this, we will arrange for your transfer to the Cusco airport to ensure you arrive in plenty of time for your flight.

• The pricing displayed is valid for each individual in a shared double room.

Flight Information

As the first day’s tour begins at 1 pm, it is imperative that your flight arrives in Cusco prior to 11 am to ensure your participation in the activities.

Key Information

If circumstances such as strikes or severe weather force the cancellation of the tour, alternative dates will be proposed for rescheduling. Should rescheduling not be feasible, a full refund will be processed, excluding the nonrefundable entrance fees to Machu Picchu, approximately 200 PEN.

The panoramic routes generally allow exploration of the lower area of the citadel. Should you wish to experience a more comprehensive tour that includes the upper section, our local team can present additional options (royal tours) which incur an extra fee (approximately 152 PEN).
