Descrizione
Temples influenced by Buddhism, stunning mountains, an unparalleled museum, pristine beaches, and playful monkeys: unveil the wonders of Da Nang through this personalized tour.
Description
We will begin our day with a pickup from your accommodation in Da Nang, setting the stage for an enriching 8-hour exploration of this vibrant Vietnamese city.
Our journey will kick off at the Museum of Cham Sculpture, renowned for housing the largest collection of Cham artistry globally. This institution displays nearly 300 pieces originating from the ancient Champa kingdom, which exerted its influence over central and southern Vietnam from the 2nd century until the early 18th century.
Following our museum visit, we will proceed to Non Nuoc, an area celebrated for its numerous marble workshops, where the streets are adorned with exquisite white stone sculptures.
Next, we will venture to the Marble Mountains, a striking group of five limestone and marble hills situated in the Ng? Hành S?n District. Here, you will have the opportunity to explore this scenic locale, encountering historic Buddhist temples while enjoying panoramic views of Da Nang. If you wish, the Am Phu Cave is also available to explore for an additional fee.
After descending from the mountains, we will pause for a deserved lunch at a local restaurant, where you can savor the delightful flavors of Vietnamese cuisine.
Post-lunch, we’ll continue our journey to the Son Tra Peninsula, affectionately nicknamed Monkey Island due to its population of friendly red-faced monkeys. You will be captivated by the breathtaking white sand beaches that enhance this natural spectacle.
We will then journey to the Linh Ung Pagoda, the largest and most significant temple in Da Nang. This site features a towering white marble statue of the Lady Buddha, standing 67 meters tall and visible from many locations across the city. We will explore the serene temple grounds, including its gardens and other Buddhist pagodas.
As our tour draws to a close, we will make our final stop at Han Market, the principal shopping destination in Da Nang. This vibrant market is perfect for picking up unique souvenirs and experiencing the local way of life.
Your guided exploration of Da Nang will culminate back at your hotel after a full day of activity.
