Are you ready to embrace the chill for an unforgettable outing at the pioneering ice bar of El Calafate? Our team awaits your arrival at the Yeti Ice Bar.
Your adventure begins in the first section, known as the Warm Bar, where you will immediately notice a polar theme throughout the decor. As you transition to the next area, be prepared for a temperature drop to 5 degrees Celsius. Feeling the chill?
A member of the Ice Bar staff will equip you with insulating layers and gloves to keep you cozy in the frigid environment ahead. Once you're geared up, it’s time to explore the Yeti cave!
As you step in, the temperature plunges to minus 10 degrees Celsius. Thankfully, you’ll be warmly wrapped! With ice covering the floors, walls, and even the bar itself, feel free to enjoy 25 minutes capturing photos beside the impressive Yeti sculpture. Depending on your admission choice, you can sip either a drink from the included menu or indulge in an open bar experience. The selection features local vodkas and liqueurs crafted in El Calafate! The atmosphere is enhanced by performances by our waitstaff and music that brings a welcoming warmth to this icy enclave.
After leaving the cave, you’re welcome to relax in the Warm Bar for as long as you desire, where a variety of cocktails and sushi await you.
Operating Hours
The Ice Bar operates daily from Monday to Sunday, 4:30 PM to midnight. The warm bar also remains open until midnight.
Children’s Access
Minors may enter the Ice Bar, although they will not be served alcoholic drinks.
Included Beverages
- General Admission: one complimentary drink and a shot, available with or without alcohol.
- Open Bar Admission: enjoy 25 minutes of unlimited drinks (options include Fernet, gin and tonic, Cuba Libre, vodka, Gancia, Aperol, or Campari).

Address and Opening Times
On the day of the activity, go to the entrance of the Yeti Ice Bar (Avenida del Libertador General San Martín, 1359, El Calafate) and have your ticket ready on your phone or printed.
- Opening times: Monday to Sunday, 4:30 pm to midnight. The warm bar closes at midnight.

Important Info
We recommend coming in warm clothing. Although you'll be provided with thermal layers and gloves, please remember you'll be in temperatures below zero.
