Kayaking Instruction on the Espolón River

Our adventure begins at 10 am, departing from Futaleufú to the shores of the Espolón River, with the precise meeting point subject to weather conditions.

Upon arrival, we'll provide a brief orientation on kayak handling. You'll find that mastering this activity is simpler than anticipated, needing only to grasp a few fundamental techniques related to paddling posture and other vital skills integral to this water sport.

Following the theoretical introduction, we will transition into the practical segment, which involves navigating approximately 4 miles (6 km) along the Espolón River. This class II route offers an excellent opportunity to experience the thrill of maneuvering through the river’s rapids while paddling. You'll also learn the basic technique of the Eskimo turn as part of your kayaking training.

This kayaking excursion on the Espolón River will span 3 hours. When we finish the practical portion, we will return to land to enjoy a snack featuring an assortment of local products.

To conclude, we will make our way back to Futaleufú by 3 pm.

Pickup Information

This excursion includes pickup service from hotels within the urban area of Futaleufú. For those staying in more secluded areas, arrangements for pickup will be made at 348 Sargento Aldea Street.
