Commencing in Geneva at the designated meeting point, your journey will lead you toward Schilthorn, a prominent peak in the Bernese Alps standing at an impressive 9,744 feet (2,970 metres) above sea level. Ascend to its summit to unwind while soaking in the breathtaking panoramic vistas of the Jungfrau, Mönch, and Eiger, three mountains recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Do these sights ring a bell? The stunning views from Schilthorn and its renowned revolving restaurant, Piz Gloria, were showcased as a location in the James Bond film “On Her Majesty's Secret Service”.
In addition to marveling at the incredible beauty of the Alps, you'll have the exhilarating chance to cross an exhilarating bridge suspended over jaw-dropping cliffs and peaks, offering a truly unforgettable experience amidst spectacular surroundings!
Your adventure will then take you to Interlaken, aptly named for its position nestled between the lakes of Thun and Brienz. This hub of Bernese Alps tourism invites you to enjoy free time to wander its scenic streets, capture photographs of the captivating landscape, and savor local delicacies (not included). Be sure to taste the traditional Swiss fondue if you’re a cheese lover!
After fully enjoying your time in Interlaken, you will travel back to Geneva by bus, with an estimated return around 9 pm.
