After picking you up at your hotel in Granada, we will head towards the Costa Granadina and the Nerja Caves. This day is packed with history, culture, and stunning scenery as we explore the southern region of Spain. Let's start our journey!
Our first stop will be Almuñécar, a charming town with over 2,000 years of history dating back to the Phoenician era. Upon arrival, we will stroll through its cobblestone streets, marveling at the blend of historical architecture against the backdrop of the Mediterranean Sea. A visit to the serene Majuelo Park will follow, where you'll find a diverse array of exotic plants.
Next, we will explore the formidable Castle of San Miguel. From this medieval fortress, you will enjoy breathtaking panoramic views that capture the essence of the Costa Granadina. A perfect opportunity to snap some photos!
Continuing our adventure, we will proceed to Nerja, renowned for its remarkable caves. Here, we will indulge in a lovely lunch at a beachfront restaurant, or if you prefer less structure, you may opt for a lunch-free option and choose your own dining experience.
After our meal, we'll delve into the enchanting Caves of Nerja, exploring this incredible underground realm and its natural wonders. The impressive stalactites and stalagmites formed over millennia promise to be a highlight of your visit.
Before concluding our day, we will stop at the renowned Balcony of Europe to soak in the views of Nerja, marking our farewell to this beautiful area as we begin our return journey to Granada.
Your enriching experience at the Costa Granadina will culminate after 10 hours, bringing you back to your hotel.
