Bamboo Boat Ride (2-3 Hours)

We'll meet you at your hotel in Hoi An at the agreed time and journey to the delightful fishing village of Cam Thanh. Upon arrival, you'll step into a traditional bamboo boat, uniquely shaped like a basket, synonymous with this region's culture. Prepare to set off!

As you navigate through the Bay Mau Coconut Forest, you'll discover the intriguing history of these boats, including their role during the Vietnam War, and see the homes of local fishermen. A highlight of your experience will be a fishing demonstration using traditional nets, such as the round and gill nets utilized by the fishermen. This will offer you an authentic taste of local culture!

After this 2 to 3-hour excursion, we will take you back to your hotel.

Bamboo Boat Ride + Guided Tour of Hoi An (5-6 Hours)

This option starts with a guided exploration of Hoi An's historic district. After your hotel pickup, we will embark on a tour of the city’s fundamental landmarks.

Our first stop is the Japanese Bridge, an architectural gem from the 16th century, followed by a visit to the Phuc Kien Temple, which honors the local Chinese community.

Next, we will explore the Old House of Tan Ky, a beautifully preserved traditional Vietnamese home that is sure to impress. We will continue to admire the Quang Dong Temple, remarkable for its intricate design, and conclude at the Hoi An Museum, where you can immerse yourself in the enriching history and culture of the city.

After this city tour, we will head to the fishing village of Cam Thanh to follow the previously outlined itinerary. Following the bamboo boat ride through the lush coconut trees, we’ll return to Hoi An for a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, where you'll savor the distinct flavors of Vietnamese culinary delights!

Approximately 5 to 6 hours later, we will drop you off back at your starting point in Hoi An.

The tour includes pickup from hotels situated in the center of Hoi An. If your accommodation is outside the historical area, we will contact you to arrange an alternative pickup location.
