Tour of Northern Bonaire

Your adventure commences with a pickup at your accommodation in Kralendijk or at the cruise terminal. Are you ready to embark?

Our first destination is the Harbour Village Marina, where we will take some time to appreciate the beautiful mural located at the Trans World Radio site. This artwork highlights the fascinating marine life surrounding the island.

Continuing on, we will drive through the beloved neighborhoods of Hato and Sabadeco, renowned for their impressive mansions lining the streets. Prepare yourself for some breathtaking views!

Next, we'll make a brief stop at 1,000 Steps beach, famous for its captivating turquoise waters. The beach earned its name from the limestone steps that descend to the sandy coastline. Let's attempt to count them as we go down!

As we travel along the northern coastline of this Dutch Caribbean island, we'll explore its profound history, particularly its notable ties to slavery. Keep an eye out for historical landmarks such as Landhuis Karpata, where traces of that era remain.

Our next visit will be the breathtaking Goto Lake viewpoint. If conditions are favorable, we may even spot the resident flamingos that inhabit the shores of the lake. Be sure to capture this delightful moment with your camera!

Following that, we will arrive in Rincon, the island's first settlement, established in the 16th century. As we wander through its streets, look for some of Bonaire's earliest buildings and unique architectural features. We will also stop by Rincon's famous distillery, Cadushy.

On our return journey, we will pass through several of the oldest neighborhoods on the island, including Noord Saliña and Antriol.

After two hours, we will make our way back to the original meeting point, concluding our insightful tour.
