Join us at the designated meeting point in the center of Laguardia along Mayor Kalea, where our journey will commence in this enchanting town.

Our adventure will start with a leisurely walk through the quaint streets of Laguardia, where we will delve into its historical background. As we wander, you'll admire the coats of arms embellishing the façades of quaint cobbled houses and entryways, evoking the essence of the Medieval era.

Continuing onward, we'll reach a lookout point offering breathtaking views of the area, including the majestic walls and towers of the town, along with sweeping vistas of the Toloño mountain range and the vast vineyards sprawling across the Rioja Alavesa.

Our exploration will also lead us to the Church of St. John the Baptist, where we can pay homage to the town's patron saint. While appreciating this structure, noted as a prime example of Romanesque architecture in the vicinity, we'll then make our way through the Jewish quarter towards the central square.

After our thorough tour of Laguardia, we will descend into one of its notable wine caves. Descending to a depth of 23 feet (7 meters) below ground, we will uncover the winemaking traditions that have persisted since the 16th century.

Inside the wine cave, our experience culminates with a tasting of two distinctive wines from the Rioja Alavesa region. Cheers to a delightful exploration!

Finally, we will bid farewell outside the wine cave after having enjoyed 1 hour and 30 minutes immersed in the rich heritage of Laguardia.
