Aerobatic Flight Experience

Neither skydiving nor bungee jumping can claim to be the king of extreme sports. That honour goes to aerobatic flying, and on this flight, you'll feel the excitement of the exhibition arena and have a chance to fly yourself!

Options

When making your booking, you'll be able to choose between three options, depending on which experience you'd like to take part in. Below you can see details of each experience:

Aerobatic Flight Experience

Operation Recon

For the less adventurous, but who still want to experience the adrenaline rush of this activity, this is the best option for you. Learn about the basic rules of an aerobatic flight and then...take off!

Up in the air, the pilot will perform maneuvers such as 360º turns, loop the loops, and barrel rolls. Think of it like a rollercoaster without rails!

The Afterburner

If you choose this option, you'll get the chance to be the pilot this time, although it's not necessary to have any previous flight experience. A flight instructor will be in charge of explaining all of the necessary instructions.

After the brief introduction, you'll be able to perform maneuvers such as inversions, tailslides, the Cuban Eight, the Abracadabra, and much more, feeling forces of up to 8G!

Aerial Combat

If you choose this option, during the 30-40 minutes you'll be in the air piloting the plane, you'll perform aerobatic maneuvers and do up to 5 aerial combats and a low-altitude flight simulating a bombing run.

During aerial combat, you'll be able to shoot your adversary with a laser and, when you hit them, the plane will expel smoke and proceed to fall into a tailspin. Awesome, right?

Plane

The plane to be used for this experience is the Extra 330LC, the most advanced acrobatics plane in the world, with 330 horsepower, speed of up to 400 km/h and certified to take forces of up to 10G.

Security

The plane has two spots: you go in the front and a professional pilot will sit behind you. The pilot will take control of the plane, except for during the Afterburner Experience and the Aerial Combat Experience, where the majority of the time he'll only take over to correct any possible mistakes, but this will be rare, as the plane tends to take everything you can throw at it!

Requirements

The requirements for this tour are that you weigh between 36 and 122 kg (80 and 269 lbs, 5.7 and 19 stone) and be less than 1.98 meters (6 foot 5). You should have no heart problems, neck or back problems, or suffer from motion sickness. This activity is not suitable for pregnant women.

The aerial combat experience must be done with two people. If there is only one person wanting to do it, you'll battle against an instructor who'll fly in another plane, which will be supplemented.

Photo and Video

The plane has 3 cameras installed, one at the front, another on the wing and a third focused on your face. If you want the video of the experience, you can purchase it there and then.

You can experience the excitement of aerobatics in a controlled manner, take the pilot's seat, or engage in aerial combat. Each flight starts with a safety briefing and an overview of the maneuvers you'll perform during the flight. The professional pilot ensures safety and assistance where needed.
